Heather grew up being an animal lover and always had several pets. She and her husband raised their two children to be animal lovers too. As a family they volunteered for several years at a few local rescues. They fostered dogs for several years and fell in love with them all. They currently have a large animal family of all rescues. When her daughter decided she wanted a career in animal care she was thrilled. She is excited to share her love of animals with each one of your pets. She is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid and a Certified Pet Sitter. She also has a certification in Pet Psychology and Professional Pet Boarding.
Rachel grew up in Cumming, Iowa with a huge animal family including nine dogs, two cats, and a box turtle. Her love for animals started when she was younger and had always dreamed of a career with animals. She has two awesome pups, Luna who is a Miniature Aussie doodle and Mya who is a Golden Retriever. Her animal experience has varied over the years in different industries of the pet care world including humane societies/rescues, dog daycare/boarding facilities and vet clinics. She recently earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Health and Behavior. As well as finding many ways she can continue her education in the pet care industry. She is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid and a Certified Pet Sitter. Her other certifications include Professional Pet Boarding, Pet Psychology, FernDog Training Academy and Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification.
Ajla grew up in Johnston, Iowa and have always had an unconditional love for animals. Despite her parents being hesitant towards the idea of having pets in her home, just because of the extra responsibility, growing up she was persistent and was able to convince them into getting multiple fish, a turtle named Jack, and eventually a kitten! Currently, her family has a goofy Manx cat, Leo, whom they all love and adore so much! Throughout the years, she has volunteered at the ARL in Des Moines, fostered a few kittens, and has been the designated pet-sitter for neighbors and friends more times then she can remember. Her love for animals continues to grow each day, and she amisso excited to have the opportunity to help Woof Pack Resort in taking care of your fur babies!
Emily started her career in the animal care industry in Orlando, Florida, working as an obedience and behavioral modification dog trainer. She has followed that career up to Iowa while also specializing in service and therapy dog training through a non-profit organization. Emily is so excited to join the Woof Pack family and be able to offer enrichment to animals and their humans in a different way! In her spare time, Emily competes in dog sports and plays a few instruments.
